Leatherport closely keeps track of leather trade-shows, international market-developments and all the new trends in the world. The general trends and specific styles are generated by our skilled creative-team. Our customer’s valuable and creative ideas are also very important for us as we enjoy working together with our customers to create something original and great.
Pattern
The patterns of the styles are prepared according to customer specifications by our professional technical team in a very meticulous manner.
Leather and Materials
Taking global market trends into consideration, the leathers and materials are developed after visiting international fairs and exhibitions. The color scales , linings and accessories are determined based on the chosen leather and materials.
Our leather are carefully selected from Turkhis tanneries. The main skin-types used in our production are:lamb, veal,goat, and lamb shearling.Each come with different types of finishing such as: aniline, semi-aniline, nubuck, suede, sılky, drum dyed and vegetable turned options.
Determining the materials and accessories, and bringing them all together is a highly sensitive process, which requires very detail oriented careful work. Our success in this area in once again the result or professional coordination from an experienced and qualified management team.
Order, Production and Delivery
Once the orders are received, a detailed Production Plan is prepared based on our customers final requirements.
The Production Plan includes: obtaining and preparing the leather, materials and accessories. Cutting, sewing, finishing, quality-control, sampling, packaging and loading, customs operations, documentations, delivery to customer etc… are all included in this process.
